Esta música anda nos ouvidos das pessoas desde 1978 e continua hoje em dia a ser um grande sonoro!

Esta música de rock com um toquezinho de tango (ao que parece inicialmente era para ser bossa-nova) fala de prostituição. Aparentemente a Roxanne está a ser explorada, mas parece que há alguem que a quer tirar da "vida" e insistentemente lhe diz que ela n tem que o fazer mais ("You don't have to put on the red light").

A letra em si é bastante simples e repetitiva, mas a música de forma geral fica no ouvido e tem carisma! Gosto particularmente da forma como o Sting arranha um bocado a voz principalmente a chamar pela Roxanne como se estivesse mesmo a tentar desesperadamente tira-la das "ruas".
